call for projects to support social
and labour inclusion of vulnerable groups!
MoreThanAJob
is launching a call for sub-grants proposals to finance cooperation projects
between Social and Solidarity Economy actors (SSE) and public administrations
aiming at improving welfare and social services for vulnerable groups in order
to increase their opportunities of social and labour inclusion.
The
competition will offer 10 funded grants for the development of innovative
social schemes (2 per partner country: Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Greece, and
Italy). The grant size will be 20,000 euros per proposal.
Who can participate!
The target groups of the call are a specific type of organization from the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) - having the specific feature of producing goods, services and knowledge while pursuing both economic and social aims and fostering solidarity - such as (among others): NGOs, cooperatives, mutual benefit societies, associations, foundations, non-profit and social enterprises.
Proposals presented under the call of sub-grants should insist on one of the following themes:
Family and income support | Health and counselling services | Education and training | Career guidance and employment support | Culture and participation.
The proposed initiative should
foresee the collaboration with a public administration that will be formalized
with the signature of at least 1 Memorandum of Understanding during the project
lifetime.
The overall call for proposal for sub-grants covers the five project for a total budget of € 200,000.
Sub-grant calls for proposals country-based and in national languages are issued in order to define actions/activities that better fit with national contexts.

Upcoming event: MoreThanAJob will launch a campaign for 3 months for informing the final beneficiaries (unemployed) about the activities that the selected projects will undertake and how they could benefit from them.
